Job Description:

Exciting Career Opportunity for a Machinist in Orillia! Our client is seeking a skilled Machinist—no tickets required! If you have hands-on experience with Milling and Turning, this could be the perfect fit for you.

Job Responsibility:

Perform precise machining operations using a variety of machine tools
Read and accurately interpret blueprints and shop drawings
Operate milling and turning machines to produce high-quality results with close tolerances
Fit and assemble parts where required, using machinists' hand tools and measuring instruments
Operates multiple types of machine tools with close tolerances and finish requirements
Responsible for ensuring proper documentation is entered on manufacturing planning (including correct quantities) and paperless timecard system

Requirements:

Hands-on machining experience with a focus on Milling and Turning
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
A team player with a desire to learn and grow within the company
