Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Machinist / Tool Maker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery and fabricating precision tools and parts to support aircraft maintenance and repair activities. Job Responsibility

  • Operate manual machinery to manufacture precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications
  • Set up and adjust machine tools and equipment to achieve optimal performance and accuracy
  • Fabricate, modify, and repair tools, fixtures, and other equipment used in aircraft maintenance and repair
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure that manufactured parts meet established standards and tolerances
  • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to identify and address manufacturing and tooling requirements
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with safety regulations and procedures

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a machinist or tool maker, preferably in an aerospace or manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in operating manual machining equipment, including lathes, mills, and grinders
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and precision
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
