Job Responsibility

  • Accelerate production by assisting machinists and ensuring a steady flow of raw materials to the machining centers
  • command heavy machinery safely, utilizing an overhead crane and a sit-down counterbalance (SDCB) forklift to move large components
  • orchestrate shop logistics by managing shipping and receiving duties, loading/unloading trailers, and meticulously wrapping pallets for secure transit
  • step up as a backup machine operator, running industrial equipment to maintain throughput when production demands scale
  • maintain elite shop standards by taking pride in general shop cleaning and hazard elimination

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating a sit-down counterbalance (SDCB) forklift and running overhead cranes to move heavy, awkward loads
  • understand the flow of a machine shop or manufacturing environment and know how to safely handle and prep raw industrial materials
  • well-versed in shipping and receiving workflows, from digital tracking to the physical staging and wrapping of pallets
  • versatile performer who gladly transitions from technical machine operation to general shop cleaning to support the crew
  • looking for a permanent, transit-accessible home that offers elite compensation ($23.00 - $25.00/hr) and shift flexibility
