Job Responsibility

  • Delivering engaging technical training sessions to enhance the skills of our crews
  • Producing new and updating existing training materials
  • Ensuring learners remain current with developments in the Search and Rescue (SAR) environment
  • Using your practical engineering experience to help others diagnose faults, maintain equipment, and operate RNLI assets safely and effectively

Requirements

  • A strong technical background
  • Experience operating, maintaining, diagnosing faults in, and repairing machinery
  • A valid driving licence
  • Ability to meet RNLI medical and eyesight standards for sea-going appointments
  • Strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills
  • A genuine passion for helping others learn and develop

Nice to have

Knowledge of RNLI lifeboats and equipment is desirable but not essential
