At Glendale, we have a great new opportunity for a Machinery Manager, to complement our existing machinery management resource. And most importantly, you will be joining a company that can offer valuable career prospects and believes in investing in its people.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensuring contracts are able to work efficiently with Glendale’s machinery and vehicle management systems
  • Development of the Glendale Asset Database system, helping to improve its user interface and data production
  • Raising the level of machinery knowledge and understanding at all corporate levels in the region
  • Assisting operational contracts with managing the repair and servicing of their machines
  • Facilitating machinery movements within the business
  • Assisting with the review and selection of machines for operational purposes
  • Being closely involved with the contract start-up and close-down teams
  • This is a national role, and you must have a willingness to travel throughout the UK to assist our various contracts

Requirements

  • Have a good knowledge of machinery, preferably related to the green services sector supported by relevant qualifications
  • Have a desire to help develop and improve processes, systems and controls
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ambitious with a high level of commitment
  • A full clean driver’s licence
  • Be IT literate

  • Navigate the computerized Production Operating Management System (POMS) to access, manage and document batch information throughout the production process.
