Requires standing up to 10 hours per day
Repetitive use of both hands and feet up to 10 hours per day
Constant awareness of surrounding
Employee must be able to obtain a tow motor license and successfully pass LOTO and confined space training

Job Responsibility

General repair and upkeep of Foundry Patterns and Core Boxes
Using hand tools (drills, wrenches, etc…)
Cutting metals and plastics using mills, lathes and saws
Sanding, polishing and deburring parts
Communicating with Journeyman Pattern Makers
Utilizing measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers etc…)
Machine maintenance (cleaning, greasing/oiling manual equipment)
Monitoring various Pattern Shop supplies and inventory
Obtaining items from the Storeroom
Maintaining a weekly log of work performed

Follow all safety protocols and procedures at all times
Respond to emergency maintenance needs during off-hours when necessary
