Machine operator

• Achieve objectives in a safe manner and according to policies, procedures, and work instructions. Display conduct that is consistent with these policies
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and maintaining 5S standards
• Expected to perform all assigned work at or above required standards
• Perform all quality inspections
• Work within all safety rules and wear required PPE and safety equipment
• Keep work areas neat and orderly
• Instructs new employees on safe work practices, machine operations and Quality requirements
• Participate in cycle counting and physical inventory as required
• May be assigned other duties as required

• Minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience
• Minimum of 1 year Machine operator experience
• Willingness to be cross trained on multiple machines
• Ability to understand, read, and write English accurately in order to follow verbal and written instructions, prepare necessary paperwork, and communicate with other team members
• Knowledge of all materials and components
• Reliable transportation is required (transit is not available at the end of the shift)
