Job Description:

Are you an experienced Machinist looking for a consistent, high-paying role? We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team in Tomago for the repair and overhaul of critical rail infrastructure. This is a casual but ongoing position within a stable industry, offering a structured roster and excellent earning potential.

Job Responsibility:

  • Operating specialized machinery and lathes to repair and overhaul rail components
  • Ensuring all work meets strict safety and quality tolerances
  • Performing routine machine checks and maintaining a clean workspace
  • Collaborating with the production team to meet daily output targets

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 12 months experience in a machine operating or manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience operating CNC machines is highly desirable
  • Ability to operate lathes and measurement tools with a high degree of accuracy
  • Proven track record of punctuality and a 'can-do' attitude

Nice to have:

CNC experience
