Job Responsibility:
Operate and monitor specialized production machinery to ensure high-quality output
Load and unload raw materials and finished parts into machines with precision
Conduct regular quality checks to identify any defects or inconsistencies in the product
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency
Adjust machine settings and perform basic troubleshooting when necessary
Collaborate with the production team to meet daily manufacturing targets and deadlines
Document production data and report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor
Adhere strictly to all health and safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand technical specifications
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small parts
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
Strong attention to detail to maintain rigorous quality control standards
Solid communication skills and a collaborative "team player" attitude
Basic mathematical skills for measurements and production tracking
Ability to perform regular lifting of up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
Reliable transportation to and from the job site in Paris, Ontario
High school diploma or equivalent
Flexibility to work overtime if required by production demands
Commitment to maintaining an excellent attendance record
Nice to have:
Previous experience operating press machines or similar industrial equipment is an asset
