Job Responsibility:

  • Operate and monitor specialized production machinery to ensure high-quality output
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished parts into machines with precision
  • Conduct regular quality checks to identify any defects or inconsistencies in the product
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Adjust machine settings and perform basic troubleshooting when necessary
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet daily manufacturing targets and deadlines
  • Document production data and report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor
  • Adhere strictly to all health and safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand technical specifications
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small parts
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • Strong attention to detail to maintain rigorous quality control standards
  • Solid communication skills and a collaborative "team player" attitude
  • Basic mathematical skills for measurements and production tracking
  • Ability to perform regular lifting of up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
  • Reliable transportation to and from the job site in Paris, Ontario
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Flexibility to work overtime if required by production demands
  • Commitment to maintaining an excellent attendance record

Nice to have:

Previous experience operating press machines or similar industrial equipment is an asset
