Performs routine setup, operation, minor maintenance, preventive maintenance (PM), and troubleshooting of moderately complex/automated manufacturing equipment. Responsible for controlling machine settings, inspecting in-process parts for quality, and ensuring accurate documentation of quality, safety, and maintenance records.
Job Responsibility:
Set up and operate a variety of production equipment, including automated machinery, for tasks such as filling, packing, assembling, labeling, and inspecting
Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues related to machine performance or product quality
Perform routine inspections to ensure quality and remove defective products, packaging, or materials
Use independent judgment for problem-solving under general supervision
Assist with root-cause analysis for process or product exceptions
Maintain accurate documentation of quality, safety, and maintenance activities
Analyze and evaluate charts, follow simple diagrams, and adhere to testing and inspection procedures
Requirements:
2 years of manufacturing experience in a regulated environment (e.g., FDA)
Relevant manufacturing experience in Food, Pharma, or Industrial sectors preferred
An AA technical degree with no prior experience is also acceptable
Minimum education: High school diploma or AA technical degree
Ability to operate within approved process-related documentation
Proficient in following established procedures in a regulated environment
