Job Description

Are you an experienced and ticketed Machine Operator looking for stable, high-hour weeks with great pay? We are a busy concrete recycling and quarry yard located in Yatala, looking for a skilled, reliable operator to join our team ASAP. This position starts as a casual role offering consistent full-time hours (between 40 and 55 hours per week) with excellent overtime penalties. For the right candidate, this is a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity with a view to transition to a permanent role within 3 to 6 months.

Job Responsibility

  • Run loaders, excavators (material handlers), and moxies safely
  • Load customer trucks and feed the concrete crushing plant
  • Stockpile, sort, and move recycled concrete and aggregates
  • Complete daily machinery safety checks and basic maintenance
  • Maintain a clean yard and follow all site safety rules

Requirements

  • Current, valid tickets for Front-End Loader (LL) and Excavator (LE)
  • HR (Heavy Rigid) licence or higher is highly preferred
  • Current Australian car licence and a reliable personal vehicle
  • General Construction Induction card
  • Proven history operating in a quarry, recycling yard, or heavy civil environment
  • 2 years experience
