Job Responsibility:

  • Oversees machine operation and makes minor adjustments
  • Inspects bags for defects and conducts quality tests
  • Lifts bundles of bags from conveyor and transfers bags into boxes
  • Enters information into computer system and prints labels

Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time with frequent lifting and pulling
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to lift bags and boxes (up to 10lbs) on a frequent basis and up to 50lbs (with a partner)
  • Clear verbal and written communication
  • Prior manufacturing experience with exposure to conveyor/assembly equipment is an asset
