Job Responsibility:

  • Operate and troubleshoot precision machinery to manufacture high-quality components
  • Perform routine maintenance and adjust machine settings for peak functionality
  • Inspect and test components to ensure precision and quality standards
  • Verify that all parts adhere to technical specifications and quality assurance
  • Comply strictly with all corporate health and safety protocols
  • Work with the Machinist team to achieve production targets and goals
  • Monitor machining processes to ensure workflow efficiency and productivity
  • Resolve machining problems through technical adjustments
  • Report unresolved equipment or production issues to supervisors
  • Model company values of integrity, teamwork, and service excellence

Requirements:

  • Experience with Davenport and Wickman machinery (preferred)
  • Competency in changing gears, CAMs, and tooling
  • Ability to interpret tool layout sheets and engineering drawings
  • Skilled in using calipers, height gauges, thread ring/plug gauges, and various micrometers (depth, blade)
  • Knowledge of drills, form tools, reamers, and thread mills
  • Technical expertise in machining processes, including operation, setup, and maintenance
  • Proficiency in inspecting and testing components against technical specifications
  • Ability to troubleshoot machinery issues rapidly to minimize production downtime
  • Adaptable multitasker capable of thriving in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams
