This Machine Operator II position is on 2nd shift. Job Responsibility:
Set-up and operate various machines and equipment to cut, bend, shape, shear, punch, drill, and/or test raw materials, parts, components and/or assemblies
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
Blueprint Reading
Precision Tools and Measuring
Forklift certification, if applicable
Demonstrate ability to read and understand TK prints for specific department
Demonstrate ability to use measuring equipment for specific department
Take Minimum Qualifications Test with a desired score of 70% or better
Demonstrate ability to set-up and run basic operations with assistance
Successful completion of introductory period (6 months)

Have a basic understanding of documentation (examples include ISO, Windchill, Kanban, and TKSs)

Demonstrate ability to do basic prototyping of parts with little or no assistance
Demonstrate the ability to calculate bend allowances and understand tooling radius
Demonstrate ability to perform preventive maintenance on related machinery and/or equipment
Able to identify and troubleshoot problems with parts being produced without any assistance, while meeting the productivity requirements for the department
