Job Responsibility:
Operating various manufacturing machines and equipment in a safe and efficient manner to produce high-quality parts
Performing regular quality checks and detailed inspections of finished products to ensure they meet precise specifications and blueprints
Assisting with fabrication processes, including cutting, shaping, and assembling metal or plastic components
Reading and interpreting basic technical drawings, work orders, and process sheets to determine machining and assembly requirements
Using handheld measuring tools (such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges) to verify dimensions and tolerances
Performing basic machine maintenance and keeping the workspace clean and organized to uphold safety standards
Collaborating with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot production issues and improve workflow efficiency within the Manufacturing & Logistics department
Adhering strictly to health and safety policies, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Requirements:
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand how machines work and interact
Keen attention to detail for performing accurate quality checks and inspections
Ability to use various hand and power tools safely and effectively
Basic math skills for measuring and calibrating machinery
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required by the job
Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic and a proactive attitude
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team in a machine shop setting
