Job Responsibility

Set up and operate machinery in line with production requirements
Monitor performance, resolve minor issues, and help maximise efficiency
Complete quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
Work towards daily production targets while minimising waste
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Report faults, maintenance needs, or quality concerns promptly
Follow all health & safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company standards
Contribute to continuous improvement and support the wider team

Prior experience as a machine operator

Job Responsibility

Service the production line with materials as per line schedule in a timely manner to avoid any downtime waiting for raw materials
Inform the Production Supervisor of any problems concerning raw material availability that may affect the quality of the lines finished product and efficiency of the line
Communication with production managers and Coordinators
Locating & batching raw materials ready for the next run
Ensuring these batched items are the correct code with useable shelf life
Transporting these materials to the line on change over
Removing materials from the previous run from the line
'Topping up' materials on the line to ensure sufficient stock is available for use during each production run
Ensure adherence to all appropriate systems and procedures
