Job Description:

For a leading company in the metal industry, we are recruiting a Machine Construction Mechanic. The mechanic is responsible for the installation, optimization, and maintenance of mechanical systems within the machine park. Key tasks include assembling components such as shafts, bearings, couplings, and seals, as well as installing pneumatic and hydraulic circuits based on technical drawings. Welding tasks (semi-automatic and electric arc welding) are also part of the role. Experience with turning and milling is considered an advantage.

Job Responsibility:

Installation and optimization of mechanical systems in the machine park
Assembly of mechanical components such as shafts, bearings, couplings, and seals
Installation of pneumatic and hydraulic circuits according to technical drawings
Performing welding work (semi-automatic welding and electric arc welding)
Optional: operating turning and milling machines

Requirements:

Diploma in (electro-)mechanics or maintenance mechanics
Ability to read technical drawings and use measurement tools (calipers, micrometers)
Eagerness to learn and a motivated attitude
Ability to work independently, safely, and accurately
Team-oriented mindset
Willingness to work in a two-shift system

Nice to have:
