An exciting full-time Machine Builder opportunity is available in Burlington, offering a wage of $40/hour. This essential role in the specialized manufacturing industry focuses on building advanced Vacuum Furnaces for the Aerospace sector. Benefit from consistent straight day shifts (Monday-Friday), 100% employer-paid comprehensive benefits, a 3% profit-sharing program, and double-time pay for weekend overtime as you advance your career as a Machine Builder in Burlington.

Job Responsibility

  • Assembly and installation of Vacuum Furnaces (a sealed chamber that heats materials to high temperatures in a controlled oxygen-free environment) for the Aerospace sector
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Modify and improve existing plans and prints to resolve challenges
  • Utilize fabrication skills, including welding and pipefitting, to custom-produce necessary components as required for assembly
  • Operate overhead crane as needed

Requirements

  • Must have Millwright 433A License
  • Proven professional experience working as a Machine Builder or Industrial Mechanic
  • Ability to read, interpret, and work from engineering blueprints and schematics
  • Strong soft skills and leadership potential: Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with rigging and moving large-scale mechanical equipment (overhead crane)

Nice to have

  • CWB tickets are an asset
  • Previous leadership experience is an asset
