Job Description

We are looking for an experienced macOS expert with extensive knowledge of JAMF and enterprise identity frameworks to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will lead efforts to troubleshoot and resolve critical issues in macOS device enrollment, identity management, and migration workflows. This position is based in Downers Grove, Illinois, and offers an opportunity to work on high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Diagnose and resolve macOS migration failures from Jamf to Intune, ensuring seamless device enrollment
  • Address issues related to enrollment notifications and reassignment workflows for macOS devices
  • Repair and optimize enrollment profiles, device tokens, and Apple–Intune handshake processes
  • Analyze and fix identity enforcement failures on macOS devices integrated with Intune
  • Ensure proper synchronization between Entra ID credentials and Okta integration at login
  • Develop compliant identity workflows that align with enterprise security standards and policies
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to engineering teams working with Intune, Jamf, and identity platforms
  • Collaborate with Microsoft and Apple Enterprise Support to escalate and resolve complex technical challenges
  • Create detailed documentation of migration steps, troubleshooting processes, and best practices
  • Architect solutions to prevent conflicts between Apple-required local accounts and Zero Trust models

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in macOS systems, including migration frameworks for versions 14 and 15
  • In-depth experience with Intune and Jamf Pro, including device enrollment and profile management
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise identity platforms, including Microsoft Entra ID and Okta
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to device tokens, bootstrap tokens, and secure tokens
  • Hands-on experience supporting enterprise macOS environments with 200+ devices
  • Excellent skills in cross-team collaboration, documentation, and technical communication

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with FastTrack and escalation processes with Microsoft and Apple
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and JavaScript frameworks like React.js

  • Supervise associates to pick merchandise and consolidate orders, pack orders, or ship packages direct to consumers and retail customers
  • Supervise secondary production functions associated with their currently assigned department, such as returns, return to vendor processes, make ready/audit functions, etc
  • Implement optimal staffing mix during assigned shift for applicable department(s) in partnership with management the production/wave planning office
  • Monitor Warehouse lines to ensure goods flow properly within the facility
  • communicate best practices for conveying goods to associates within department(s) of responsibility as well as upstream and downstream departments
  • Maintain accurate records of processed merchandise, packages and shipments, gift packaging, tracking numbers, etc. as well as associate productivity
  • Prepare daily reports of these metrics for the management team and provide appropriate feedback to associates to support accountability and recognition
  • Maintain high quality and productivity standards in assigned department(s) by providing continuous direction, training, and motivation to hourly associates (Extensive time spent on warehouse floor, this is not a desk job.)
