Join an exciting Microsoft 365 Consumer Category team that sits at the center of one of Microsoft’s most important subscription businesses. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves turning complex business signals into clear action, and wants to shape how the category operates, invests, and grows across the Americas. You will help create the operating discipline, insight quality, and program rigor needed to accelerate acquisition, renewals, attach, revenue, and long-term customer value. Microsoft’s Consumer Channel Sales organization brings Microsoft 365, Windows, and Surface experiences to life through world-class retail, digital, and partner channels. The M365 Consumer Category Management team leads the business strategy, performance management, investment planning, and go-to-market execution required to grow subscribers and revenue across the region. The team partners deeply with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, Worldwide Category, and external partners to convert strategy into measurable business outcomes. As the M365 Senior Category Manager you will be accountable for building and running the operating system that helps the Americas M365 category make faster, better, and more data-driven decisions. You will own key Rhythm of Business processes, translate performance data into insight-driven action, and manage the program and investment governance that ensures resources are deployed against the highest-impact growth opportunities. This is an individual contributor role with broad influence across senior stakeholders, regional teams, finance partners, marketing leads, and category peers. Requirements

4+ years category management, product management, marketing strategy, business planning, product planning, or related work experience AND Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience.

Nice to have

  • 6+ years category management, product management, marketing strategy, business planning, product planning, or related work experience AND Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience
  • 4+ years experience managing and expanding a category and attaining sales and profitability targets within a complex (e.g., multinational or matrixed) organization OR equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of experience building performance reporting, business reviews, dashboards, executive narratives, or operating rhythms

  • Performs troubleshooting and repairs of all machinery and equipment related breakdown
  • Responsible for maintaining the propulsion, auxiliary, and safety equipment in accordance with the planned maintenance system
  • Coordinates the work of external contractors when repairs are being facilitated onboard
  • Liaises with the Port Engineering Team and Engineering Superintendent to facilitate repairs, contract visits, etc.
  • Provides thorough analysis of breakdowns and faults to Shore Engineering Team to facilitate quicker vessel recovery
  • Conducts Deck Level Hazard Assessments (DLHA), along with the crew, to assess a specific work task prior to starting the work to determine if hazards are present
