The material and processes (M&P) Specialist position will be responsible for evaluating, trouble-shooting, providing support to liaison in providing dispositions. This position requires attention to detail, self-motivated, great attitude and team player as well as using good judgement and making sound decisions while under pressure and close deadlines regarding dispositions to support production. As customer interface is possible, professional appearance and communication skills are required.
Job Responsibility:
Evaluate, trouble-shoot, provide support to liaison in providing dispositions
Analyse current configuration and provide a solution to liaison that supports certification
Understand current manufacturing processes and determine if other practices can be used
Be proficient in understanding current manufacturing (ASPS) processes
Take part in liaison MFT providing M&P information to support the decision making for liaison dispositions
Review dispositions for accuracy
Take part in daily meetings
Support when required in reviewing drawing for release providing M&P direction
Create or review process documents
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, chemistry or 2 years aviation experience
3 years of engineering experience dealing with manufacturing processes
Experience in drawing reviews and approvals
Working experience with MS Office and good ability to quickly learn new tools
Experience in CATIA and Enovia
Good oral and written skills in English
Minimum knowledge of French
Familiar with engineering design specifications
Knowledgeable in manufacturing processes
1 month training in Montreal
Energetic person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a high sense of commitment, and a willingness to accept responsibilities while acting independently in a high-pressure partner/supplier team environment
