The M&E Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems within a facility to ensure uninterrupted, safe, and efficient building operations.
Job Responsibility:
Operate and maintain HVAC systems (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, MAH/RAH,GAH)
Maintain pumps, compressors, cooling towers, and plumbing systems
Perform preventive maintenance as per schedules
Attend mechanical breakdowns and restore systems quickly
Maintain LT panels, MCC panels, UPS, and DG sets
Monitor power distribution, lighting, and emergency power systems
Carry out electrical fault finding and corrective maintenance
Ensure earthing, panel safety, and load balance
Conduct routine inspections and record parameters
Ensure fire & life safety systems are functional
Support statutory compliance and audits
Coordinate with vendors and OEMs
Update CMMS / logbooks and maintenance reports
Follow EHS and safety standards strictly
Requirements:
Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC
2–5 years of experience in M&E or Facilities Management
Relevant safety certifications preferred
Strong understanding of M&E building services
Troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis skills
Knowledge of BMS, energy management, and safety systems
Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency calls
