worked in a similar role for either a specialist subcontractor or are undertaking a similar role with either a regional business or Tier 1 contractor locally
worked their way up off the tools, engineering background or are degree qualified and came into the role via the professional route
eligible to live and work in the UK

Job Responsibility

pre selection and procurement of the packages
agreeing terms and budgets with supply chain
supporting the internal delivery team
managing the M&E packages
full responsibility for payments, valuations, variations, remeasures, CVR assessments
contributing to the weekly briefings on site and fortnightly progress meetings

Job Responsibility

Managing commercial aspects of a project
Liaison and collaboration with the construction and design teams in all M&E aspects of contractual activities

Ensure optimum commercial return for the project
Accurately prepare cost/value reconciliation reports
Agree interim valuations on schedule for commercial advantage
Prepare and finalise client accounts with senior management
Finalise subcontractor accounts to maximise margins
Prepare subcontract orders per company procedures, aligned with procurement schedules and contract programs
Control subcontractor accounts and minimise variation costs
