Job Description:

Are you a M&E Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge? We are currently partnering with a range of leading companies across the construction and engineering sectors and have multiple opportunities available. We are seeking skilled and driven M&E Quantity Surveyor (and Senior / Manager), to join top-tier firms in the market.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, including initial estimates and final costs
  • Provide accurate advice on cost and procurement strategy throughout the project life cycle
  • Manage the tender process, including preparation of bills of quantities, reviewing contractor bids, and negotiating contracts
  • Work closely with clients and contractors to ensure cost efficiency
  • Prepares bill of quantities (BoQ) involving quantity take-off, material sourcing, and estimating material and labour costs for tendering
  • Administer contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon terms
  • Manage any variations or changes to the project scope and evaluate the financial impact
  • Conduct interim valuations and prepare progress payments for contractors and subcontractors
  • Ensure accurate valuations of completed work for payment certification
  • Provide post-contract cost control and management, including final accounts preparation, settlement of claims, and cost reconciliation

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • With experience of mechanical or electrical package
  • Able to work independently in office, on site, and visit clients for meeting
  • Good analytic and negotiation skills
  • Able to join immediately will be an added advantage
