Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced transaction professional with a strong background in Transaction Services / Financial Due Diligence who is seeking to broaden their exposure to live M&A transactions within a specialist advisory environment. This role is particularly suited to candidates who enjoy analytical depth, high-quality execution and working on complex transactions in a detail-oriented and intellectually rigorous environment. The successful candidate will support the execution of M&A and strategic advisory mandates, working closely with senior advisers across a range of transaction workstreams. As part of the firm's broader operational development, the role will also involve helping drive the implementation and refinement of AI-enabled workflows, research processes and execution tools across selected areas of the transaction lifecycle. Rather than broad end-to-end deal ownership from day one, the role is designed to develop deep expertise across key areas of transaction execution, financial analysis, advisory delivery and project management. The position offers meaningful involvement across complex live transactions within a focused and collaborative boutique environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing key workstreams across live M&A transactions
  • Preparing high-quality client materials, including financial models, information memoranda, board presentations, research and analytical materials
  • Managing due diligence processes, data requests and transaction documentation workflows
  • Performing detailed financial analysis and building supporting financial models
  • Supporting transaction reporting, process coordination and stakeholder communication
  • Coordinating internal and external parties to ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule
  • Assisting with the management of multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Developing specialist expertise across selected aspects of M&A execution and advisory work
  • Supporting the refinement and implementation of AI-enabled tools, workflow automation and knowledge management processes across selected transaction workstreams
  • Supporting junior team members and contributing to a high-performance team culture

Requirements:

  • ACA / CA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Approximately 4–7 years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong background in Transaction Services / Financial Due Diligence, ideally within a Big 6 or leading mid-market advisory firm
  • Prior exposure to M&A transactions and transaction processes
  • Strong accounting and financial analysis capabilities
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work under time pressure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in workflow optimisation, AI-enabled research tools and technology-driven process improvement
