Job Description:

Join Wells Fargo's team in Singapore to work on cross-border M&A transactions, primarily focusing on U.S./Asia Pacific cross-border M&A situations. Support senior M&A and investment banking industry coverage bankers to source, originate, and execute M&A opportunities for Asia Pacific companies seeking acquisitions overseas with focus on North America, and for U.S. clients seeking acquisitions in Asia Pacific.

Job Responsibility:

Support senior bankers in relationship responsibilities including idea generation and client interaction
Lead preparation of written material including pitch books, proposals, client materials and supporting analyses
Play key role in transaction execution including preparing materials
Stay abreast of key market developments and establish knowledge of target client base
Coordinate with internal and external resources to arrange client meetings for U.S. bankers in Asia Pacific

Requirements:

6+ months of Investment Banking Program experience or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education
2+ years of Investment banking experience across various sectors
Experience with both listed and privately held companies
Exposure to full spectrum of M&A transaction life cycle including origination and execution
Prior experience at international bank platform
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Solid financial modeling experience
Fluency in Mandarin and English
Additional Asian languages is a plus
Capable of multi-tasking in fast paced environment
Current Licensed Representative under CFMAS
University Bachelor's degree
