Job Responsibility:

  • Assist the Legal Transactions Team in London by using DocuSign and other legal software, reviewing engagement letters, and drafting legal documents
  • Manage projects, monitor key dates, and maintain checklists to ensure smooth progress
  • Assist with the preparation of disclosure letters and coordinate feedback from internal teams and external counsel as required
  • Follow systems and procedures within the Legal Team
  • Support the Legal Transactions Team in asset rotation transactions
  • Assist with document management, timelines, checklists, and legal approval processes
  • Conduct legal research and provide assistance with drafting simple legal documents
  • Manage and maintain file organization for relevant transactions

Requirements:

  • LLB Law Degree and completion of the LPC with an authorized LPC provider, ideally having completed a module in corporate transactions/business law
  • Use Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Teams) and legal software (e.g., DocuSign) effectively
  • Undertake legal research tasks, draft simple legal documents (letters, board minutes, meeting notes), follow legal processes, and create and maintain checklists while monitoring key dates to ensure deadlines are met
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced, demanding environment while managing conflicting priorities
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Legal Team and key stakeholders, communicating clearly and comprehensively
  • Demonstrate flexibility to meet global business and Legal Team needs
  • Be proactive in contributing to the Legal Team's goals, including research, know-how materials, and process creation
