Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Junior M&A Lawyer to join our Corporate / M&A team. The ideal candidate is eager to develop strong transactional skills, enjoys working in fast‑paced, high‑stakes environments, and is committed to providing exceptional legal support to senior lawyers and clients. This role offers hands‑on experience in domestic and cross‑border transactions, with clear professional development opportunities.

Job Responsibility

  • Support senior lawyers in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transaction documents
  • Participate in due diligence processes, including data room review, risk identification, and preparation of due diligence reports
  • Conduct legal research on corporate, commercial, competition, labor, and regulatory matters relevant to transactions
  • Assist in transaction management, including coordinating with clients, advisors, and counterparties and helping prepare closing documentation
  • Prepare corporate filings and support post‑closing integration and compliance activities
  • Review corporate documents, company registry extracts, and corporate governance materials
  • Support business development, such as preparing client briefings, presentations, and thought‑leadership content

Requirements

  • Hungarian law degree
  • Early-stage lawyer (fresh graduate or 0–1 year experience)
  • Strong interest in corporate law, M&A, private equity, and transactional work
  • Excellent legal writing and analytical skills
  • Fluent Hungarian and English (both written and spoken)
  • Proficient in MS Office and comfortable working with digital legal tools
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and open to feedback
  • Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across practice areas
  • Commercial awareness and an interest in business environments
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity
