Job Description:

An international law firm with a strong cross-border platform is looking to expand its London Corporate practice through the hire of M&A partners or teams. The London office acts as a key European hub, working closely with colleagues across the US and Asia on international transactions and strategic mandates. The firm is looking to bring in 6–8 M&A partners as part of its continued investment in the London market.

Job Responsibility:

  • Advise clients on a broad range of corporate transactions, including: Private company mergers and acquisitions
  • Private equity transactions
  • Joint ventures and strategic investments
  • Cross-border corporate transactions
  • Equity capital markets transactions (where applicable)
  • Contribute to the growth of the London corporate practice and collaborate with colleagues across the global network

Requirements:

  • Established M&A partner with portable business or strong potential to build a practice
  • Strong private company M&A experience
  • Background at a leading UK or international firm
  • Experience advising private equity sponsors or corporate clients
  • Interest in developing international work
  • Sector experience of interest includes: Mining, Professional services, Insurance, Healthcare, Consumer products, Private equity
