Job Responsibility:

  • Applying the nursing process through the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of patient care
  • Providing a caring relationship that facilitates health and healing
  • Demonstrating clinical competence in performing, assisting and/or documenting tasks and procedures with excellence and quality, per department standards, regulatory guidelines and within scope of practice using age/developmental appropriate approach
  • Implementing plan of care, provides patient and family teaching, follow-up, and discharge (after visit summaries) instructions with excellence and quality, per departmental standards and within scope of practice

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree or nursing diploma from an accredited LVN program
  • Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by American Heart Association

Nice to have:

  • One year of experience
  • At least one year of pediatric experience
  • Bilingual Spanish
