Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled LV Technician to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in installing and maintaining low-voltage systems, including energy management and control devices. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who can execute detailed installations while ensuring high-quality results.

Job Responsibility:

  • Interpret and follow project documents, including blueprints, schematics, and operation sequences, to ensure proper installation
  • Assist field foremen with tasks and learn from their expertise to enhance your skills
  • Execute conduit and wire installations as per project requirements, ensuring accuracy and quality
  • Label and pull wires throughout the installation process, adhering to standards
  • Mount control panels, junction boxes, and other electrical devices using appropriate tools
  • Install conduit systems and manage cable infrastructure with precision
  • Bend and run conduit as required to meet project specifications
  • Wire panels and devices based on project drawings and guidelines
  • Troubleshoot and resolve communication issues within systems, using tools like multimeters
  • Provide leadership and build trust with team members and customers to ensure smooth project execution

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in network cabling, cable installation, and low-voltage systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
  • Proficiency with electrical tools such as multimeters and conduit benders
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for circuits, wiring, and devices
  • Knowledge of building and wiring control panels both in-shop and in-field
  • Familiarity with energy management systems and electronic controls
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to support collaboration
  • Commitment to maintaining safety standards and delivering high-quality work
