Are you passionate about luxury travel and delivering exceptional customer service? This prestigious long-haul tour operator is looking for a Luxury Travel Consultant to join its reservations team, supporting customers and travel agents with enquiries, bookings and administration for premium destinations in the Indian Ocean, Middle East & Africa This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded luxury travel brand in a varied, sales & customer focused role.
Job Responsibility:
Handle enquiries, quotes, bookings and general administration as part of the reservations team
Support concierge-style services and special requests for luxury long-haul holidays
Manage daily tasks within the reservations system and ensure all passenger details are accurate and up to date
Use Amadeus to action bookings, issue quotes and complete administration
Build and maintain excellent relationships with travel agents and direct customers
Proactively contact customers prior to travel to offer additional services and enhancements
Notify agents and customers of new special offers to drive business into the reservations team
Prepare and arrange travel documentation
Review customer feedback and take appropriate action, seeking guidance where needed
Requirements:
Experience of working within a tour operator or retail travel environment in a sales role
Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
Confident communicator with exceptional customer service skills
Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proactive approach with a positive, team-focused attitude
Accuracy-driven with a commitment to maintaining high professional standards
Nice to have:
Experience using Amadeus or similar GDS would be beneficial but not essential
What we offer:
Salary of £30k to £32k depending on experience, plus bonuses
Monday to Friday: 9 to 5.30, Saturdays 9 to 4 on a rota basis
Hybrid working available after probation (one day per week from home)
