Job Description

A Primary School in Dorking is immediately seeking a Lunchtime Server to manage their midday operations with a possibility of the role becoming permanent. This is a key, part-time position perfect for someone reliable and enthusiastic who enjoys working in a supportive school environment. You will be the primary server, working closely with other staff who focus on supervising the children. Training will be provided.

Job Responsibility

  • Setup and Service: Preparing the dining area and serving hot meals to both pupils and staff
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Operating the dishwasher, clearing down the dining area, washing equipment, and maintaining cleanliness in the servery
  • Teamwork: Collaborating with school staff to ensure lunch service runs safely and efficiently

Requirements

  • Previous experience in catering or a similar role is an advantage
  • CACHE level 1 or 2 qualification
