Immediately hiring! Are you a responsible and detail-oriented individual with a deep passion for automobiles and working on box trucks or moving vans? Look no further! We are currently seeking enthusiastic candidates who have recently completed a technical school program or gained experience in manufacturing, warehouse operations, automotive garages, or auto dealerships. If you're looking for an exciting opportunity, become a valued member of the Budget Truck team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform preventative maintenance functions on fleet of vehicles, including box trucks and cargo vans
  • Perform oil and fluid changes
  • Perform tire repairs and rotations
  • Perform all tasks in a safe manner
  • Depending on experience, may be assigned basic repairs or assist experienced auto mechanics
  • May be required to drive a Budget Truck on public access roads

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License (Class A, B or C)
  • Proven car mechanical or maintenance skills
  • Comfortable working in a mechanical shop with moderate or loud noise level
  • Basic computer skills (typing, data entry)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, continuously sit, stand, bend, reach, walk, kneel, get up and get down from a seated position, enter, exit, climb into, climb down from, and drive a variety of automobiles, cargo vans and box trucks in all weather conditions
  • At least 21 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
  • On-Site Requirement: This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely
  • Must be able to obtain DOT medical clearance
