Paramedic certification from an accredited certified paramedic program, or an Associate's of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in paramedic studies or equivalent
Three years of Emergency Service experience preferred
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and applicable state-OEMS certification as EMT-P required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be required within one year in select areas
Critical care certificate or national registry paramedic, preferred
Maintains certification through affiliation with approved applicable state-OEMS education provider
