Job Responsibility

Follows and complies with AF, 75 MDG, and section Instructions when providing patient care
Complies with all 75 MDG infection control and safety procedures, practices, and standards
Meets all applicable AAAHC and HSI standards
Participates in programs of immunizations and health screening
Prepares patients for physical examinations, tests, and diagnostic procedures
Assists physicians with special examinations and procedures
Initiates and completes laboratory requests using computer system
Performs vital signs, PFTs, hearing/vision screening, immunizations, medication administration, EKGs and lab procedures, etc. as protocols require
Skills in setting up, operating, and monitoring medical equipment such as
audiometric equipment, PFT equipment, and EKG equipment, in order to conduct the tests and to understand normal values to get provider assistance when necessary
