Job Description

Maxim Healthcare is actively hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Elizabethtown, KY to join our growing team. In this role, you'll provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the comfort of your patient's home. Shifts typically range from 8 to 12 hours, depending on patient needs. Assignments may include pediatric or adult patients. Pay is based on relevant experience and shift type (e.g., day, evening, night).

Job Responsibility

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition
  • Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses

Requirements

  • Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice
  • Current TB or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS card
  • One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
