As a Low Voltage Superintendent, you will lead teams in delivering complex, mission-critical low voltage and data center projects—on time, within scope, and budget. You’ll be responsible for leading crews, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining quality standards, and developing your team’s technical and leadership capabilities.

Manage tools, equipment, schedules, and cost codes effectively
Oversee subcontractor performance for safety, quality, scope, and cost
Maintain accurate field documentation
Set the tone for a safe jobsite and lead by example
Enforce company safety policies
Participate in safety calls and ensure engaging safety meetings
Build strong relationships with clients and other trades
Manage conflict quickly and professionally
Communicate clearly verbally and through written documentation
Listen actively and encourage open dialogue
Be main point of contact for client communication
Develop team members through training, feedback, and example
Set clear expectations and help teams achieve their goals
Fully understand project plans and communicate the work plan
Plan to ensure materials, labor, and tools are available
Identify scope changes, coordinate pricing, and assist with schedule
Recognize and manage project risk
Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and schematics
Apply NEC codes accurately and perform precise calculation
Apply TIA and EIA codes and BICSI standards
Use Interstates systems and tools effectively
Understand and adhere to all state and local regulations related to location or client
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required
Eight years prior experience required in commercial, industrial, or Data Center construction environments
Eight plus years experience installing to BICSI/TIA standards, BICSI Installer 2 Copper (INSTC) Cert, BICSI Installer 2 Optical Fiber (INSTF) Cert, BICSI TE350 Technician Certification
Electrical journeyman license preferred
Can manage a team of low voltage foreman, installers, and technicians
Must have a high level of low voltage knowledge
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Interstates systems related to low voltage work and being able to teach others how to use these systems
Previous leadership in a construction environment
Nice to have
BICSI DCDC Cert (desired but not required)
BICSI RTPM Cert (desired but not required)
Electrical journeyman license preferred
