Cranswick Gourmet Kitchen is supplying high quality cooked product to a number of market leading customers. The goal of our food manufacturing site, Cranswick Gourmet Kitchen, is to produce quality cooked food for market leading customers. We are looking to grow our team and recruit a Low Risk Team Leader to be responsible for and oversee area within production. The ideal candidate would be an ambitious, dedicated and dynamic Team Leader who is looking to join a new team and would be able to motive, engage and lead a team of operatives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Be responsible for and oversee area within production
  • Ensure that product safety, quality and legality is achieved whilst maintaining high standards and inspiring their team to strive for excellence

Requirements:

  • Prior experience leading a team within the food industry (i.e. Team Leader, Line Leader or equivalent) is preferable
  • Ability to use IT systems, and be comfortable with running and understanding a paperless factory
  • Ability to lead, communicate and motivate a team
  • Be able to show initiative and good problem solving skills
  • Good knowledge of basic food hygiene and health & safety principles
  • Ability to communicate, understand and follow instructions and have good attention to detail
