Job Description:

Leads daily operations, ensures service standards, coordinates teams, and controls costs to deliver a premium lounge experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the Lounge Manager as needed
  • Maintain a positive and motivated team relationship
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and hygiene policies
  • Align operational costs with the projected business plan
  • Ensure proper storage of all raw materials and consumables, following all regulations
  • Ensure shifts are adequately covered throughout the year to maintain quality service
  • Monitor and align extra costs with activity
  • Deliver monthly schedules to all team members well in advance
  • Provide continuous training for the team
  • Recognize and promote team members who exceed expectations, both internally and with clients
  • Prepare requested reports
  • Participate in national or international events as requested by the Lounge Manager

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in team supervision in hospitality, aviation, lounges, or catering
  • 3 to 5 years of operational supervision experience in hospitality, catering, aviation, or lounges
  • Proven experience in managing multicultural teams
  • Solid knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards (HACCP)
  • Experience in creating schedules, cost control, and stock management
  • Education in Hospitality, Tourism, Management, or similar fields (preferred)
  • English proficiency required (intermediate to advanced level) due to interaction with international passengers and airline teams
  • Strong leadership and team motivation abilities
  • Excellent communication (Portuguese and English)
  • Conflict resolution and decision-making skills
  • Organization, planning, and results-oriented focus
  • Attention to detail and operational rigor
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changes
  • Professional ethics and exemplary conduct
