Job Description:

The Loss Prevention Officer at The Westin Saraya Aqaba Resort & Spa is responsible for maintaining safety and security. This includes patrolling the property, monitoring security systems, responding to emergencies, and conducting investigations. The ideal candidate is dedicated, physically capable, and committed to professionalism and teamwork.

Job Responsibility:

  • Patrol all areas of the property
  • assist guests with room access
  • monitor CCTV, alarms, and safety systems
  • conduct hazard inspections
  • respond to accidents and emergencies
  • document incidents
  • resolve disturbances and safety hazards
  • escort unwelcome persons off property
  • investigate security incidents
  • perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving objects
  • maintain confidentiality of reports and information
  • adhere to company standards and policies
  • develop positive relationships with guests and team members.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • no related work experience
  • ability to patrol property, monitor security systems, and conduct inspections
  • ability to respond to emergencies and provide first aid/CPR as needed
  • ability to complete incident reports and maintain confidentiality
  • ability to resolve disturbances and handle safety hazards
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • ability to move through various spaces and perform tasks such as bending, twisting, and stooping
  • ability to maintain professional appearance and follow company policies
  • ability to develop positive work relationships
  • good communication and documentation skills
  • ability to use computers to enter and locate information.
