Job Description:

The Loss Prevention Officer position at The Vinoy Resort & Golf Club includes responsibilities such as patrolling the property, monitoring safety systems, responding to emergency situations, maintaining professional standards, and ensuring a safe and secure environment for all guests and employees.

Job Responsibility:

Patrol property and assist guests with room access
monitor security systems
conduct hazard inspections
respond to safety incidents and administer first aid/CPR as necessary
resolve safety hazards and escalate situations when required
complete incident reports and maintain confidentiality
assist during emergency situations
ensure positive guest experiences
maintain professional appearance and adhere to company policies

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
ability to patrol property and assist guests with room access
monitor safety systems, including CCTV and alarms
conduct daily hazard inspections
respond to accidents and administer first aid/CPR if required
handle safety hazards and complaints
maintain confidentiality
investigate and document reports
follow company policies and ensure cleanliness and professionalism
ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
move and handle objects weighing up to 50 pounds, or more with assistance
navigate uneven surfaces and confined spaces
comply with licensing/registration requirements where applicable
