As a Loss Prevention Officer, you’ll play a vital role in safeguarding the store by preventing theft, deterring suspicious activity, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. Your ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations will be essential to maintaining a safe shopping environment.
Job Responsibility:
Monitor the shop floor, stockrooms, and other areas to identify potential security risks
Detect, deter, and report theft, vandalism, or other suspicious activity
Conduct regular patrols of the store and ensure all security measures are in place
Monitor CCTV systems and respond to incidents effectively
Liaise with store management, staff, and external authorities when necessary
Assist with staff training on loss prevention procedures
Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records
