Job Description:

Loss Prevention Officer position at San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino. Responsible for property security, guest safety, emergency response, and maintaining a secure environment through patrols, monitoring systems, and incident management.

Job Responsibility:

Patrol all areas of the property
Assist guests with room access
Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions and security systems
Lock property entrances when required
Conduct daily physical hazard inspections
Respond to accidents and contact EMS
Administer first aid/CPR
Assist guests/employees during emergency situations
Notify appropriate individuals of incidents
Defuse guest/employee disturbances
Complete incident reports
Handle interruptions and complaints
Resolve safety hazard situations
Escort unwelcome persons from property
Report to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts
Conduct investigations and gather evidence
Conduct interviews with relevant parties

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
Ability to patrol property areas
Assist guests with room access
Monitor security systems (CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, fire life safety)
Lock property entrances
Conduct daily physical hazard inspections
Respond to accidents and emergencies
Administer first aid/CPR
Handle guest/employee disturbances
Complete incident reports
Resolve safety hazards
Conduct investigations and gather evidence
Conduct interviews
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Read and visually verify information
Visually inspect tools and equipment
Use computers and point of sale systems
Move at required speed (run, walk, jog)
Lift objects up to 50 pounds without assistance
Lift objects over 75 pounds with assistance
Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Move through confined or elevated spaces
Move over uneven or slippery surfaces
Bend, twist, pull, and stoop
