Job Description:

The Loss Prevention Officer will be responsible for handling security and loss prevention tasks, including conducting investigations, handling business interruptions, and maintaining safety and security standards, all in a luxury hospitality environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct investigations and gather evidence related to theft/fraud or lost items, noise complaints, and guest complaints
  • conduct interviews to obtain statements and information
  • assist and notify appropriate individuals in the event of incidents
  • complete incident reports
  • handle business interruptions and complaints
  • escort unwelcome persons from the property
  • defuse disturbances or altercations
  • speak with others using clear and professional language
  • maintain positive working relationships
  • ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • perform physical tasks and operate necessary equipment
  • perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • ability to conduct investigations and gather evidence related to theft/fraud, complaints, and incidents
  • ability to conduct interviews with relevant parties
  • ability to complete incident reports
  • ability to handle complaints and business interruptions
  • ability to defuse disturbances or altercations
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and navigating various spaces
  • adherence to company policies
  • excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • ability to use computers for work-related tasks.
