Job Description:

Manages the daily functions of the department to ensure protection of property assets, employees, guests and property. Maintains logs, certifications and documents required by law and Standard Operating Procedures. Trains staff in established emergency procedures and implements accident and fire prevention procedures. Position focuses on ensuring guest and employee satisfaction while achieving the operating budget.

Job Responsibility:

Manage daily functions of department to ensure protection of property assets, employees, guests and property
Maintain logs, certifications and documents required by law and Standard Operating Procedures
Train staff in established emergency procedures
Implement accident and fire prevention procedures
Conduct hazard and risk assessments
Develop detailed shut down procedures
Follow proper key control guidelines
Develop monthly checklist for CCTV equipment, alarmed doors, and duress alarms
Handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances and conflicts
Implement action plans to monitor and control risk
Oversee first aid program for guests and employees
Oversee claims process and protect company assets

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
4 years experience in security/loss prevention or related professional area
OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Criminal Justice or related major
2 years experience in security/loss prevention or related professional area
