Job Description:

In this role, you will work to promote risk awareness, ensure safety and compliance, and reduce business loss through effective risk management strategies. You will also train and support co-workers in accordance with safety standards and Ingka rules to create a secure environment for everyone. Reporting incidents and analyzing risks for improvement are key responsibilities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Promote risk management in the unit, informing and sharing expertise to develop risk-aware decision taking in relation to unit goals and business plan
  • support co-workers by providing expertise in acting according to Ingka Risk & Compliance Rules and Local legislation on Health Safety and Security to ensure a safe environment for customers and co-workers
  • promote and ensure completion of necessary trainings and facilitate for unit employees
  • support Risk & Compliance culture by utilizing systems to detect, analyze, and reduce business loss and financial impact
  • ensure the reporting of relevant figures for co-workers, customer, and visitor incidents to establish progress and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the Health and Safety and Security sector and/or Safety and Security experience within a Retail environment
  • knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations, security processes, tools and working methods
  • ability to implement safeguards that bring value to the business and protect the financial and moral position
  • capability to conduct a risk assessment and implement the hierarchy of controls
  • good communication and documentation skills in dealings with various levels of management
  • ability to think and work in a risk-based way
  • good analytical and numerical skills.
