Job Description:

Robert Half is partnering with a rapidly growing national mortgage and financial services company in Tempe to hire multiple Loss Mitigation Collectors roles. The role is 100% on-site in a modern, high-volume outbound call center environment. In this role you will be responsible for outbound consumer collections calls to any mortgage customer who is 60 days or more past due on their payments. The role will require you to communicate payment options that are required to get the customer back in good standing on their loan. A qualified candidate will be confident in making outbound calls and comfortable having direct but professional conversations related to the customer's current financial situation and realistic solutions. The company is willing and able to teach individuals with any past phone-based customer care experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Outbound consumer collections calls to any mortgage customer who is 60 days or more past due on their payments
  • Communicate payment options required to get the customer back in good standing on their loan

Requirements:

  • Prior customer service experience required (call center, receptionist, or other phone-based customer care experience)
  • Prior experience in either the mortgage field or collections is a plus but not required
  • Ability to manage a high outbound call volume with professionalism
  • Comfortable working on-site Monday through Friday with availability one half day one Saturday per month
  • Interest in learning the mortgage industry or financial services and growing within the organization
