Strong knowledge of load restraint and weight distribution

Job Responsibility

Operate a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle for nationwide transport of plant and equipment
Safely load and unload heavy machinery using ramps and securing equipment
Conduct daily vehicle and trailer checks, ensuring compliance with company and DVSA standards
Secure loads correctly in line with legal and company safety requirements
Complete delivery and collection documentation accurately
Communicate effectively with transport planners and site personnel
Maintain full knowledge and personal management of drivers’ hours to ensure continual compliance
