Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Lorry Driver to join our team in Nottingham. The purpose of this role is to deliver goods from the Nottingham branch to customers at a variety of destinations in and around the branch’s surrounding area on a Hiab Crane lorry, 7.5t Lorry or a Pickup truck

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervising the offload of goods at the destination manually yourself and/or with onsite personnel, and/or onsite personnel-operated plant
  • Driving to delivery destinations and in reasonable time, working to achieve the expected daily number of deliveries as appropriate
  • Delivering timber materials to the surrounding area
  • Flexibility across yard tasks aside of driving duties, as appropriate and if ever required

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of surrounding area
  • Driving License to Category C (Class 2)
  • Basic literate and numerate ability
  • Physical ability to work manually and at the required pace
  • Driver CPC
  • Digital Tachograph Card
