Job Description

Are you an enthusiastic and committed KS1 teacher looking for a rewarding long term opportunity in Crawley? We are currently seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school from Easter through to the end of the academic year. This is a full time position with full teaching responsibilities.

Job Responsibility

  • Full time Year 2 class teacher
  • Full planning, preparation and marking
  • Attendance at parent's evenings
  • Full teaching responsibilities including assessment and reporting
  • Working collaboratively with parallel teachers and SLT
  • Delivering engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within KS1, ideally Year 2
  • Strong knowledge of phonics and KS1 assessment frameworks
  • Confidence with full classroom responsibilities
  • A positive and proactive approach to behaviour management
  • The right to work in the UK
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
